Vintage Creigiau Pottery Copper Lustre Jug with Blue Interior

Copper lustre finish is in very good condition
Reg and Jean Southcliffe set up the Southcliffe Ceramic Company in Creigiau near Cardiff in Wales in 1947, a year later they changed the name to Creigiau Pottery. They produced earthenware with incised decoration and a greyish glaze partially covering the brown body and throwing the design into relief, the pottery produced up until 1983. They also made this distinctive copper lustre ware.
I used to work at this pottery so I can guarantee authenticity.
