Vintage Creigiau Pottery Coffee Pot – Welsh Studio Earthenware

A vintage Creigiau pottery coffee pot
Chocolate brown earthenware with a creamy-grey glaze, in very good condition

I am listing a matching sugar bowl and 6 coffee cups and saucers.

Reg and Jean Southcliffe set up the Southcliffe Ceramic Company in Creigiau near Cardiff in Wales in 1947, a year later they changed the name to Creigiau Pottery. They produced earthenware with incised decoration and a greyish glaze partially covering the brown body and throwing the design into relief, the pottery produced up until 1983. 1970s.

I used to work at this pottery so I can guarantee authenticity.
