Vintage Sowerby Amber Glass Bowl: Frog & Bulrush Art Deco Dish

circa 1933 Sowerby frog and bullrushes amber and frosted glass art deco three footed bowl

Three perfect frog shaped feet.
A rare and beautiful item

A very popular and fun clear glass bowl made by Sowerby.

The bowl features a waters edge theme with frogs and bulrushes making up the bowls design. The tops of the bulrushes go up the side of the bowl to and form part of the overturned rim. The rim of the bowl has an open flower look with a flowing tear drop pattern and within each tear drop is a bull rush head.

There are three frogs that form the feet at the base of the bowl.

Leaves run around the entire base of the bowl, broken only by the frogs.

No damage to the item. In perfect condition.

This is a truly fun and popular item and is a great example of deco pressed glass. Will grace any home.

Dimensions – 26cms across, 11cms across base from frog to frog, 8.5cms high.
That's 10 inches across and 3 inches high
