Up for sale is an incredibly rare, museum-quality piece of Australian Depression glass history: a complete 2-piece "King" pattern Master Punch Bowl and matching separate 3-pronged pedestal stand, manufactured by the Crown Crystal Glass Company in Sydney, Australia, during the 1930s. Finding the heavy, double-handled master bowl is a treat for collectors, but finding it with its original, intact three-pronged plinth base is exceptionally rare. Most of these matching stands were separated or broken over the last 90 years.
Exquisite Art Deco Styling: Features the classic "King" geometric cuts, starburst panels, and chunky, elegant double side handles. Incredible Luminescence: Contains uranium oxide, producing a spectacular, brilliant neon green glow under standard 395nm UV/blacklight. Even in daytime natural light, it possesses a beautiful, distinct green hue.
Modular Display: The master bowl sits perfectly and securely nestled within the prongs of the heavy pedestal base, creating a stunning centrepiece silhouette.
