Vintage Wood Lucille Pancyr Maple Leaf Keepsake Box, Canada

This beautiful wooden box was handmade by Lucille Pancyr, an artisan woodworker and craft artist based in the Ottawa, Ontario area of Canada.

Active mainly during the 1990s, she specialised in hand-crafting small, one-of-a-kind wooden items, keepsake boxes and decor pieces. Her signature style often paired native Canadian timbers, frequently butternut wood, with beautifully etched nature and wildlife scenes on the lids, finished with a distinctive hot-stamped maker’s mark on the base.
